The Rangemore sign was unveiled to commemorate  H M Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee on the 3rd June 2002.  It has currently been removed as it requires some restoration works and will hopefully be reinstated during Spring 2021.

ST MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS CHURCH

www.tatenhillchurch.org and  www.facebook.com/stmtatenhill/  Throughout the Advent season the PCC encourage residents to partake in the annual “Reverse Advent”. Put a grocery item (non perishable!) into a bag each day. On Christmas Eve either put the bag in the church porch or bring to the evening service and the PCC will ensure it gets to the YMCA over the Christmas period. Don’t forget those Christmas treats that we all enjoy!

CAROL SINGING—18TH DECEMBER 2020

This year a small group of villagers are planning on reviving an old tradition in Rangemore of bringing carol singing to the village by way of a decorated tractor and trailer, with live and recorded music on the evening of Friday 18th December. The money collected will be given to Rangemore Church funds.  The whole occasion will depend on what Covid 19 restrictions need to be observed, but the plan is to start at Rangemore Club car park at 6p.m. and to return to the club at 8p.m. for a drink and hot food, after completing a route around the village. Specific stopping places will be decided nearer the time. Information will be distributed via village notice board, at the Club, the village ‘whatsapp group’ and good old-fashioned word of mouth. There will also be a house to house leaflet drop giving details and inviting you to order food.  Please look on the web site www.rangemorechurch.co.uk for the latest information.
