Local Government Boundary Review

The Local Government Boundary Commission is currently undertaking a review in East Staffordshire. This will consider changes to the Borough Council wards to ensure equal representation for everyone in the area.

As part of this process everyone is invited to give their views on the local area. Boundaries are drawn to ensure fairness in local government, reflecting the interests and identities of local communities. An important source of information about the local area is the consultation process, which will run until 23 February 2020.

At the moment, Tatenhill & Rangemore parish is a part of Needwood Borough Council ward, an area which also covers Dunstall and Barton-under-Needwood. The review will not affect the boundary of the parish which will remain the same while the review takes place.

More information about the review and how to contribute your thoughts can be found at www.lgbce.org.uk
