The Staffordshire Warmer Homes initiative is due to launch in East Staffordshire next week. The initiative aims to install fully funded first time central heating systems into eligible homes across Staffordshire.
The Staffordshire Warmer Homes initiative is funded by the £150m Warm Homes Fund, which has been established by National Grid to support local authorities to address some of the issues affecting fuel poor households.
Staffordshire County Council is working in partnership with E.ON and East Staffordshire Borough Council to run this initiative in your area. They are also encouraging the local police, fire and health services to make referrals into the scheme.
Staffordshire County Council has identified a number of households across East Staffordshire that could be eligible to get fully funded central heating installed in their home and we are sending letters out to all of these homes in the coming weeks.
Residents can apply for this scheme if they do not already have gas central heating, claim benefits or tax credits, have low or no income, are disabled, elderly or have very young children.
You can apply in the following ways:
online at www.staffordshirewarmerhomes.co.uk or
freephone the Staffordshire Warmer Homes team at E.ON on 0333 202 4481.
