In response to recent developments and the anticipated increase in traffic, Tatenhill & Rangemore Parish Council and Amey, on behalf of Staffordshire County Council, have been working on proposals for traffic management. A consultation is open on proposals involving traffic calming in Rangemore and changes to speed limits throughout the parish.
There will also be two consultation events at which the plans will be available to view:
The first will be at All Saints’ School, Rangemore, on Thursday 21st February between 3pm and 5pm.
The second will be at Tatenhill Memorial and Thankgiving Hall, on Tuesday 26th February between 10 a.m. and Midday.
The current proposals would involve two build-outs on Tatenhill Lane, Rangemore as well as a delineated but not raised crossing at the School. This work would be carried out over Easter in order to minimise disruption to school traffic.
Speed limits would be reduced to 50mph on the main road past Rangemore, to 40mph along Tatenhill Common and the current 30mph limit in Tatenhill would be extended to the top of Moores Hill.
We would like to hear your views on these proposals. If you cannot attend either of the consultation events you can email your responses to email@example.com
